Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how QuoteAmerica uses cookies and similar technologies on quoteamerica.org. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons and software development kits. We refer to all of them collectively as "cookies."
How we use them
| Category | Purpose | Can you disable it? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, bot detection, rate limiting, and remembering your progress through a quote form within a single session. | No — the Site will not function correctly without these. |
| Attribution | Recording which advertisement or referring site brought you here (for example utm_source, gclid, fbclid), so that a submitted request can be credited correctly. We store these in your browser's session storage, not in a persistent cookie. |
Yes — clear session storage, or use private browsing. |
| Analytics | Understanding aggregate traffic patterns and which pages perform well, so we can improve the Site. | Yes — via your browser settings or an ad blocker. |
| Advertising | Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising and, where applicable, showing you relevant advertisements on other sites. | Yes — see the opt-out links below. |
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties, including advertising and analytics providers. We do not control those cookies, and their use is governed by the third party's own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC signal where legally required. See our Do Not Sell or Share page.
- Industry opt-outs. Visit the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Mobile devices. iOS and Android both provide a device-level setting to limit ad tracking.
Do Not Track
There is no accepted industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and we do not currently respond to them.
